How do you get gunk like packing tape residue or tree sap off your blades? It's a lot easier then you might think. All you need is some 70% Isopropyl Alcohol from any grocery or big box store. The Isopropyl Alcohol cuts through the gunk on your blade and allows it to be wiped clean. If all you have on the blade is a little packing tape residue then you wont need anything more then a little alcohol, a paper towel and a few minutes of elbow grease. If your blade is more seriously gummed up then ...

I'd like to start this post by saying the events in Boston were horrific and clearly the acts of madmen and cowards. The bombings were senseless and my prays are with everyone effected. I have several points I want to touch on in this article. One, where does this recent bombing take America as a whole? Two, What does this attack mean for Preppers and Survivalist? So we don't know yet if this is an act of international terror, home grown or something different. Could this be the first ...

I was linked in a post about the Top 50 Survival Blogs at Survivor.com. Now I'm not in the top 50 of anyone's list but I have made runner up lists. I'm listed at #19 on Survivor.com but that list is in no particular order. There are many Blogs listed that are way better then mine. In any event it's fun to make someone's list for what ever reason. Blogging is a lot harder then it looks and it's nice to see my blog linked to once and while. So go checkout Survivor.com and look them ...

Well, well, well, will you look at these Texas Stabbing Spree headlines. Some nutjob in Texas went on a stabbing spree on a collage campus with what witnesses are describing as an X-acto knife. An X-acto knife! Something so small and relatively harmless that we regularly make them available to children at least as young as Junior High School age for use in both Science and Art classes. No he didn't use the dreaded AR-15 or "standard capacity" magazines, he didn't use a gun of any type. He didn't even use a large ...

I've just learned from an inside source in the US Government that MESA, the Middle East Space Agency has successfully placed a french Tea plant into geosynchronous orbit around Earth. It is believed that MESA and it's allied Middle East countries such as Iran plan to use the Sun's radiation to weaponize the tea plant and use it's base level neutrons to create a next generation bio weapon of terrible lethality. It is further speculated that the range of this terrible new bio weapon code named Tea of Death will have a range capable of reaching ...

Botach is selling the Belleville Tactical Research side zip, composite toe Paladin boot at a screaming deal of $35 through their Ebay store. Only issue is that they have small sizes only, size 8 and under as of this writing. I own a pair of these boots and i like them a lot. I have not had a chance to test them real thoroughly yet but so far so good. My foot feels very secure in these boots and insole is super comfortable. Former Astronaut Mark Kelly, husband of former Senator Gabrielle Giffords want's to seriously and permanently curtail our Second Amendment rights all while murdering cute baby seals with his vicious blood thirsty Pitbull dog. Okay, that might be stretching it a little bit but I'm trying to make a point here. Mark Kelly and his wife have been rabidly vocal in their quest to destroy our Second Amendment rights. Gabrielle Giffords was the victim of a heinous crime in which they chose to blame law abiding gun owners and inanimate objects like the AR-15 rifle. But....no one is ...

I like Nutnfancy a lot and I think he has a lot of good ideas and insight. This video on Body Armor for civilians is no different. It's well produced, thought out and presented. He talks a little about soft armor and more about hard armor options as well as a few armor carriers. I don't fully agree with him 100%. I think AR500 steal level 3 hard armor plates are a good idea for the average Prepper. There are lighter weight options but they cost twice as much. Take a look at the video and see what ...
